C-PASS ZiP
the access system for ziplines
In adventure parks, ziplines are sensitive areas with a very real risk of collision. To prevent these dangerous situations, CLiC-iT has developed C-PASS ZiP, a 100% mechanical, autonomous and reliable system designed to lock access to the zip line as long as a user is engaged on the zip line.
Why control access to zip lines?
Protect users, regulate the flow on platforms.
Without a regulating device, zip-line departures can follow each other too quickly, multiplying the risk of collisions between users.
Even with the presence of an operator, human control remains limited on the busiest courses. It is therefore essential to install an autonomous locking device, which automatically blocks access as long as the zip line is occupied, without the need for intervention.
Smoother management for greater safety, freeing up one or more operators.
- 100% automatic locking
- Can be integrated into any environment
- No changes to P.E.I.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to train my team to use the system?
Training in use and maintenance is compulsory to enable you to control and maintain your equipment. This is carried out by our teams on our premises or in a park (several dates a year).
Training can also be carried out by videoconference.
For which adventure courses?
A solution for every environment.
The C-PASS ZiP is suitable for all types of zip lines up to 500 m long, whatever the height or type of audience. It is particularly recommended for :
For ziplines where it's hard to see the finish from the starting platform.
In high-traffic areas, to avoid accumulation on platforms, and in configurations with few operators, where the autonomy of a 100% automatic system is an asset.
Control training is an integral part of the acquisition process.
How does C-PASS ZiP work on a platform?
- A user launches himself onto the zip-line by passing his connector through the entry box → the system locks automatically and the indicator turns from green to red
- As long as it is engaged on the zip-line, the box is locked and no other user can access the zip-line.
- Immediately after the zip-line, the user passes his connector into the exit box. The system automatically unlocks the zip-line access for the next person. The indicator on the entry box changes from red to green.
Does the C-PASS ZiP require a power supply?
No, it's a mechanical device.
Communication between the 2 units is by radio frequency and is powered by a rechargeable battery.
Can the system be deactivated manually?
Yes, the system can be unlocked with a tool in 1 second.
